Why don't I want to make a costume?

I've typically have the most fun making my own costumes, so I can't figure out why today I absolute zero motivation for Halloween prep.  I got home and had fun ideas for my party next week.   Soon after, when it came to making my own costume for my sister's party, I just lost the mojo.

Her party is tomorrow, and I need to make this costume!!!  I'm starting to think that it HAS to be the day of a party to be making my costume.  Maybe my costume gene is only activated less than 12 hours from the event.  It seems to have to be a mad dash, so I guess I'll only have to wait until I wake up tomorrow to get the jolt of creativity.    Yay procrastination.  It's the only way to go!

I'm trying something new....

It has been four years since I've had to pay for heat.  In my new abode, I'm trying my best to avoid turning it on until November.  It has worked so far, but made for some chilly nights.  I accept the challenge!

I've decided to write you all a haiku to demonstrate how I'm feeling with this new lifestyle.  *ahem*

My nose is so cold
The heat will come, but for now
My wallet is fat

Lipstick dreams and aspirations?

I was very surprised at the number of people who found my wish to start wearing lipstick an admirable goal.  I thought my declaration a simple and boring one, but I was pleased at the support. 

So who is in?  I will be a lipstick person!  It usually appears the missing component in my makeup look.  It is not my fault though, as I seem to smudge it off by eating or drinking.  How do people keep this stuff on??
